How to use your GoCalm™
To get the best results from your GoCalm™ device, follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Charge the GoCalm™
Ensure the device is charged before use. A USB charge cable is provided in the box which plugs in to the charge port at the bottom of the device. A full charge is reached in just 30 minutes. Do not overcharge the device as this can damage the battery and reduce battery life.
Step 2: Turn on the GoCalm™
Turn on the device by pressing the power button for 5 seconds. The device will start up on the lowest frequency setting and a light will illuminate.

Step 3: Hold the GoCalm™ in your palm
Place your left hand through the cord and then hold the device in the palm of your left hand with the ball point positioned on the PC8 acupressure point (located where the tip of your middle finger touches your palm when you make a fist) – refer to image below to locate this point. It is very important that the device is positioned correctly for optimal results.
Close your hand to secure the device in your palm.
Step 4: Adjust the power
Adjust the power up (+) or down (-) to a level which is comfortable. Select from 5 power modes, from ultra-low frequency to high frequency for personalised comfort. If you can’t feel the pulsing sensation on your palm immediately, increase the power by pressing the (+) button several times and re-position the ball point as needed to find the correct point. You should feel gentle pulses being transmitted through your palm.
The device automatically turns off after 20 minutes. If you wish to turn off the device manually, press the power button for 5 seconds.
When and how often to use
We encourage you to use the device for at least two weeks to experience the benefits. If you are suffering from anxiety or stress, we suggest starting with 20 minutes, 3 times per day (morning, afternoon and evening). If you are having trouble falling asleep, it’s best to use it just before bedtime. However, it is perfectly safe to use as often as you need it.
Troubleshooting
To test that the device is working and not faulty, place your index finger on the round ballpoint in the centre while simultaneously touching the other part of the metal body with your middle finger. If you can feel the micro-current pulses running through your finger, your device is working correctly.

1. Why can't I feel the micro-current pulses?
If you can’t feel the pulsing sensation in your palm immediately, increase the power by pressing the (+) button several times and re-position the ball point as needed to find the correct point. Adjust the power up (+) or down (-) to a level which is comfortable.
If you have dry hands, this can also reduce the effects of the micro-current pulses. To increase conductivity of the micro-currents, it helps to moisturise your hands before use.
2. Is it safe?
Acupressure therapy has been part of traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years and is renowned for its safety and natural benefits. The micro-current pulses emitted by the GoCalm™ are gentle and safe for most individuals.
We recommend consulting with your doctor prior to use if:
- You have any serious medical conditions, for example, if you have an implanted medical device such as a pacemaker, heart disease, or you suffer from seizures.
- You are pregnant.
- You are over the age of 70.
If you are unsure, it is best to avoid use.
GoCalm™ is not suitable for children under the age of 6.
3. How long does the battery last once charged?
A single charge can last up to 15 hours, depending on the power setting selected.
